The Impact Award was created by University College to acknowledge individual contributions members of the campus community have on our new students and on student retention. This award will allow new freshmen and new transfer students to recognize anyone (faculty, staff, upper classmen, resident assistants and etc.) who has made a difference in their first year at Illinois State.
New freshmen and new transfer students can nominate a professor, advisor, student leader or staff member who has motivated, inspired or supported them during their first semester at Illinois State. Students can nominate an individual starting in late February via an online nomination process sent to them through campus email.
University College will recognize nominees by May 1st.
Retention and student academic success is a campus wide endeavor. University College has designed the Impact Award to formally recognize the individual acts that contribute to our overall student success, retention and ultimately graduation.
