University College provides a support program for students enrolled in summer courses called, Summer Bounce Back. Through intense support, this program will help students make academic progress.
Summer Bounce Back is targeted towards students who are on academic probation, who have been academically dismissed or who need to improve their grade point average for major admission. Program space is extremely limited.
Applications are due by May 6. Applicants should take care in answering each question honestly and completely. Applicants are encouraged to have their Academic Advisor submit the Advisor Feedback form. Applicants must be registered for summer courses to be considered.
Students who are not currently attending must also complete the admission application.
Currently enrolled students will be notified of their conditional acceptance into the Summer Bounce Back program by May 9. Notification of final acceptance will occur via Illinois State University email on May 13, after spring semester grades post.
Students not currently attending Illinois State University will be informed of their Summer Bounce Back status via the Reinstatement Committee/Readmission process.
