TRIO provides academic advising and services to students who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education.
The Mentoring, Academics, Scholarship and Achievement Initiative (MASAI) program pairs first-year students with Illinois State upperclassmen. Mentors provide a smooth transition for new students in a series of meetings, events, and activities during the students first semester on campus.
Formerly named LSAMP, STEM Alliance is a program for students majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Benefits include the opportunity to pair with a faculty/staff mentor, conduct research, and participate in internships.
University Scholarship recipients are awarded a prestigious financial award and participate in a four-year enrichment program that provides a holistic academic experience.
