Illinois State University's chapter of Tau Sigma National Honor Society was founded in 2012 for the purpose of distinguishing the academic accomplishments of the most outstanding transfer students. The mission of Tau Sigma is to foster a well-rounded community of students who transfer to Illinois State University through outreach, service, support, and professional development.
If you have questions about Illinois State's Tau Sigma chapter, contact the chapter advisor Patrick McNulty.
Members of Tau Sigma benefit by being recognized for their academic achievement as a new transfer student at ISU. Students also benefit by being involved on campus with other transfer students through social activities and civic engagement opportunities.
Membership is by invitation only. Students who meet the membership criteria will be sent an invitation to join. Those interested in joining Tau Sigma must complete the membership form and mail it back to the Tau Sigma National Office with their one-time $50 membership fee.
