Students who have not completed their math requirement may be required to take the ALEKS math placement exam. Your advisor will discuss your major math requirements during your advisement appointment.
Many transfer students choose to live in the residence halls because of location, convenience, and social opportunities. If you are transferring to the University within two years of high school graduation, you are required live on campus.
All students admitted to Illinois State are required by law to provide proof of immunity.
Illinois State's campus is safe, extremely compact, and very convenient. You can get nearly anywhere you need to go on foot, by car or public transportation in just a few minutes.
This optional course is an opportunity to meet other transfer students while learning about the resources, policies and involvement options at Illinois State University.
Transfer students who have at least three semesters remaining until graduation, a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater, and evidence of extracurricular/community involvement are encouraged to submit an application to the Honors Program.
Student Access and Accommodation Services oversees the approved accommodation services for students and guests with disabilities. Services include classroom assistance such as note taking, sign language interpreters, and more.
