Academic coaching is one-on-one individualized assistance available to all students at any point in their academic career. Peer Academic Coaches (PACs) are fellow Illinois State students who receive training on supporting their peers through the academic and personal challenges that college students face.
Peer Academic Coaches can help you develop and refine your academic skills, set (and achieve) your own goals, and design personalized strategies for academic success. They function as guides, listeners, and accountability partners not as tutors, academic advisors, or counselors.
Ready to get started? Select your PAC and make your appointment!
If you’re unsure who to choose or have questions about peer academic coaching, contact Lisa Lawless.
