Developmental Math helps you acquire the skills and background needed to successfully complete math courses required of all students as part of the University’s General Education program.
Developmental Math Lab
The Developmental Math Lab provides one-on-one tutoring assistance for MAT 102 and MAT 104 courses. No appointment is required, but you must bring your student ID. Calculators and course textbooks are also available for student use in the lab. Tutoring occurs virtually and in-person.

Developmental Math Instructors
MAT 130- Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental Instruction is a form of tutoring that focuses on collaboration, group study, and interaction to assist in success in MAT 130. SI sessions are facilitated by academically successful students known as SI leaders, who have previously excelled in the course and have received training on guiding collaborative group study sessions.

ALEKS Math Placement Assessment
Most students should complete the ALEKS Math Placement Assessment prior to registering for a math course.
