The Mentoring, Academics, Scholarship, and Achievement Initiative (MASAI) is a University College mentoring program that is focused on the retention of first-year underrepresented and first-generation students. In particular, MASAI supports 60 first-year students.
MASAI partners incoming first-year Noble students with a current Illinois State student to facilitate a successful transition into the University community and assist them with creating an optimal academic and social experience at ISU.
Upperclassmen students are selected to fulfill a one-semester commitment to support the MASAI mentor program. Learn more about how to work for University College as a MASAI mentor.
